What internet security software do you have installed? Recaro Posted March 4, Posted March 4, Hi, I have more or less the same problem. Can anyone help me please? Fixed it. Had to go into the Xfinity Router and mess with the settings. Posted March 11, OK, so it was an issue with the router in your case.
What settings did you have to change? The problem can be fixed by deleting qBittorrent. I tried uninstalling and reinstalling I assume that automatically cleared the folder housing those 2 INI files. But just to make sure I have just deleted them and have restarted Qbittorrent, I will follow up on the results. I checked the dead torrents, I checked the trackers just now and it says on the status tab that some trackers are "working" but some are "not working".
For the "Do not count slow torrents in these limits" I have just enabled that option just now. So I'll follow up with the results. The weird thing is that yesterday my torrents suddenly started downloading again and I'm not sure why. I have redone my settings in Qbittorrent due to a recommendation that was posted on my thread in the Qbittorrent Fourms. These are the new settings that were posted, And as such I have changed my previous settings to these settings.
Going forward, I recommend a vast reduction on your qBittorrent settings. The az-calc guide you used was badly flawed when it was made and is over 6 years old. Upload slots: Global maximum: 60 should be lowered further if you lower upload speed much Per torrent: Not "checked" it's not nearly as important as the global max upload slots. Half-open connection value: 10 if you're not firewalled in qBT, even 10 may be overkill. With 60 total upload slots, that puts an upper limit on how many active torrents you can have at once -- 60, with 1 upload slot for each.
Alright, So I still have this problem. Now I'm not sure what to do. It works sometimes but sometimes it does not work with downloading, even though I have seeds. Qbittorrent isn't even letting me move torrents around, I usually put torrents in a "downloading" folder then I put the finished torrents in a folder marked "Unsorted by Filebot" using the torrent program, But when I use the option "Set Location" in Qbittorrent nothing happens.
That and my torrents never check it seems, It takes forever to check if the check bar even moves at all. And the best way to do it is by using CleanMyMac X. CleanMyMac X is a truly powerful Mac optimizer packaged in a dead-simple and intuitive interface. This utility will help you delete old files, clean up your hard drive, speed up your Mac, enhance your privacy, and find any malware with just a single click.
You can also simply go for a Smart Scan and get a full report on how your Mac can be instantly improved. Most torrent clients today have a download limit option that could be enabled by default. Increasing this limit might help with the torrent not downloading files properly. If so, it could have something to do with torrent connection issues. In general, your torrent speed is affected the most by the number of peers who are seeding the torrent file to you. Normally, when you find a torrent file online, it will tell you how many people are seeding it at the moment.
If you see that the number is considerably lower during the download, you can try to pause and start the download, or even delete your current torrent file and try to do the whole process again from the torrent website. In some cases, the problem could be with the torrent client itself. Although the uTorrent setup wizard will automatically add an exception for uTorrent in Windows Firewall, sometimes this will fail due to your third-party antivirus settings.
If your antivirus app is doing an excellent job, it may take over control over your Windows Firewall and block your uTorrent, thus causing uTorrent not downloading issues. If your uTorrent is stuck on connecting to peers , it can be a temporary stale download caused by outdated seeders or trackers.
This will immediately check for more peers. Then navigate to the uTorrent folder and delete the file named resume. The culprit can be uTorrent settings such as ports not working, you can run a quick test and let uTorrent adjust its settings automatically. Some of the configurations of uTorrent will interfere with your internet connection, thus causing the uTorrent not downloading issues.
Recently, many users report uTorrent not downloading or stuck on connecting to peers. What can you do if you encounter the same problem? MiniTool Partition Wizard develops a simple guide to help you get rid the issue. However, some issues might come up during the downloading, such as uTorrent stuck on connecting to peers or not downloading. If you encounter uTorrent connecting to peers issue, it indicates that the BitTorrent client cannot connect to other BitTorrent users and you are unable to download a torrent.
This problem might occur due to various factors but you can fix it with ease.
