Thanks for your feedback, it helps us improve the site. In reply to Ramesh. Kumar's post on August 15, Okay I jumped through all of your ridiculous hoops and I still do not have the majority of my installed software listed on the "all apps" start button.

Step one, hidden files have been displayed on my PC since about windows 3. Step two, okay now your grasping for straws but hey when you have no clue what you are talking about throw out the least helpful suggestions right?

Scanned my pc and shockingly there were no issues wow didn't see that coming Step three add a new profile - who writes your help desk scripts? Fine whatever. I installed HP scanner software fresh on windows 10 and it didn't show up in the all apps list either. Seriously you take away the ability to edit the all apps list and then you don't even let our own apps populate the list. So here is my take away. The stuff that is still installed does NOT show up in the all apps.

Maybe it should be named "all Microsoft apps only" and then you give us an all apps feature that actually works I want detailed instructions on how to edit the all apps section so my software can actually be on the list and I don't want anymore stupid hoops to jump through! In reply to JimOrchard's post on August 15, I am having exactly the same problems having just up graded last week. Did they actually come back to you with a cure or are you still hoping that somebody else will come up with a fix, because as far as I can see nobody has yet!

Leave these alone Good luck. This is not an issue of upgrade only. I also had a Kindle and Netflix app and those are gone as well. Using the search doesn't help either. The Microsoft Store is gone and the App Explorer doesn't open. This is my second system restore. The first restore I did wasn't too bad since only a few apps I didn't care about were gone, and I didn't think too much about it.

But with this one it's seems like a good majority of the apps that came installed on the system are gone. This is a new laptop with Windows 10 Pre-installed on it. All of the apps that are now missing were also already pre-installed on the laptop. Update: I just went to the online app store to see if I could re-install a few of those apps, i. Netflix and it says "the product is installed.
